Elizabeth’s career has been focused on partnering with individuals and organizations to facilitate their success and achieve their full potential.  With over 25 years of corporate Human Resources leadership experience, Elizabeth prides herself on building collaborative partnerships and quickly establishing trust with her clients.  Her commitment to her clients’ success led her to found DLP Coaching.

Prior to opening DLP Coaching, Elizabeth worked as Director, Executive Development for Southwestern Energy where she had responsibility for executive talent management efforts that provided long-term value for SWN shareholders and employees.  In this role, she led activities focused on executive succession and development, executive competencies and assessments and leadership coaching. Elizabeth’s efforts drove a more impactful and enterprise-wide view of leadership capability.

DLP Coaching is dedicated to helping leaders and organizations achieve their greatest potential. Through customized services at individual, team and organizational levels, Elizabeth establishes a strong partnership with her clients, facilitating their success. Drawing on more than 25 years of leadership development experience, Elizabeth’s work emphasizes practical and measurable strategies that create sustained value for her clients.

During her tenure with SWN, Elizabeth led the design of a customized Executive Development Program as well as a Right Start leader on-boarding program, resulting in retention and promotion of key talent. In addition, work she initiated regarding the topic of “Resilience at Work” has been the subject of a case study and book published by the Center for Creative Leadership. *

Elizabeth’s experience also includes time with Shell Upstream Americas, where she was Vice President Human Resources, leading a global team with responsibilities for ~2000 clients in the Exploration, Technical and Health, Safety and Environmental functions.  Partnering with EVPs, she played a key role in a reorganization effort, streamlining workflows, assessing and leveraging key capabilities, and ensuring sustainable and value-adding processes were being implemented.

I partnered directly with Elizabeth while at a prior company and consider her to be a strategic and intentional leader in the area of talent and leadership development.

Prior to her energy industry experience, Elizabeth held senior Human Resources positions in various industries including chemical manufacturing, consumer products and retail.  Her career also includes international experience, having held a global role with Nestlé S.A., based in Switzerland, where she was responsible for expatriate talent management in Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, Oceania and the Middle East. Throughout her career, Elizabeth successfully initiated efforts to drive talent development, implemented high potential initiatives to facilitate success and partnered with new and tenured senior executives to inspire alignment within their teams.

Elizabeth is passionate about giving back to the community and is an active and inaugural member of the Advisory Board for Houston’s Energy Institute High School. She is a troop leader with the Girl Scouts of America and a sustaining member of The Junior League of The Woodlands. Elizabeth is an active alumnae Hermana of Lambda Pi Chi Sorority, Inc./Latinas Promoviendo Communidad Sorority, Inc., the first Latina sorority founded at an Ivy League university. She has partnered with Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) and supported their Mujeres de HACE program, participating on panels and guest lecturing.

Elizabeth earned a bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University. She has participated in various continuing education programs and is Birkman and Myers-Briggs certified. In addition, she is in the process of obtaining her International Coaching Federation certification through CoachRICE at Rice University (expected completion 2019).

A San Antonio native, Elizabeth and her family reside in The Woodlands, Texas.
